Beginners Skeet Successful
Attendees learn skeet basics
Last Friday, May 18, seven fellow club members attended a beginners-only skeet event at the Club. Skeet basics were taught by long-time club member Ray Samson. Our tip of the hat for his able instruction and generous contribution of time to introduce skeet to these beginners. Our thanks to Donnie Day for opening up the skeet houses and attending to the detail of supporting this activity.
Additional events such as this are being planned at the Club to allow members with limited experience in a variety of shooting sports to try out something new.
Our next intro will be Sunday May 27 from noon until 3pm when Mark St. Amand will do black powder pistol shooting at the outdoor pistol range. Be there to learn something about this wonderful shooting activity with some hands-on shooting. No cost to you. See you there.
